The Devil is the god of this world and he has succeeded in making many very averse to the gospel of Jesus Christ. That’s the reason 2 Corinthians 4:4 says “In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” 

Yes, it’s God’s desire that none should perish but that all would come to the knowledge of Christ. Here lies our responsibilities to pray for the salvation of our loved ones. These scriptures have been carefully selected to help us pray effectively.
