‘He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge…’ (Psalms 91:4; NKJV).
There are people who do not believe in spiritual wickedness or demonic attacks. Until one sees, hears or experiences some things, he might just wave off the idea that people can be attacked by agents of the evil one.
The Bible said that when men slept, the enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat. Most attacks come when men are at sleep – whether physically or spiritually. And their manifestations are seen later. But as God’s children, God promises to cover us with His feathers, so that no evil prevail over us.
Sometimes ago, someone fired me something at me in the dream, using an object that looked like a catapult. It hit me at my leg and the leg started bleeding in that dream. I held that leg in pain and didn’t know what to do. But almost immediately, I saw myself surrounded by a prayer team. These unknown people started praying for me with intense seriousness. It was a powerful and hot prayer session indeed. The prayers continued until I awoke from sleep.
On opening my eyes, I found myself holding the same leg. To my sense of touch, it felt a little bit damp. So I quickly got up and took a closer look. Behold, I noticed a wound on my leg. I didn’t go to bed with any wound whatsoever. To see blood flowing out of my leg was a little bit confusing. But when I remembered the prayers of the heaven-sent ministers, I concluded that I already got the victory. I prayed a little further and believed that there was no cause for alarm. I went to sleep and of course the wound got healed in no time.
Dearly beloved, some of the money-gulping and drug-defying health issues that people face today started in what looked like harmless dreams. It is hence important to pay some attention to the activities of the evil forces around us. To secure our victory, we have to take our prayer life to a higher level and feed on God’s word voraciously so as to build our faith. We must also pay attention to His leading. One more thing: we must command the wickedness of the wicked to return to them. I pray that henceforth no weapon formed against you shall prosper. In Jesus name!
