God cannot be deceived (Part 1)

God cannot be deceived (Part 1)God cannot be deceived (Part 1)

Do not deceive yourself; no one makes a fool of God. You will reap exactly what you plant. Galatians 6:7 (GNB)

In our world today, deception is the order of the day. Husbands deceiving their wives, wives deceiving their husbands, pastors deceiving members, members deceiving their pastors, employers deceiving employees and employees deceiving their employers. Government deceiving citizens and citizens deceiving their leaders, etc.

Do not forget, you can only deceive your pastor, wife, husband, parents, Imam, idol, boss, leader, workers, citizens and so on, but God cannot be deceived because He’s always looking at you. He never sleeps nor slumber.

  • You can pretend to be what you are not. You may be in Lagos (Nigeria) and lie that you are in Abuja (Nigeria).
  • You can inflate the price of a product that costs #10,000 to #25,000, so that you can keep #15,000.
  • You can lie to your boss that one of your in-laws died so that you can have the opportunity to go and watch football.
  • You can lie to your pastor that you didn’t make any profit, so that you will not pay your tithe.
  • You can pretend to love your neighbours.
  • You can even pretend to be a child of God because of a sister.
  • You can pretend like you forgot something, nobody knows but God knows.
  • You can pretend like you lost your money.
  • You can pretend to love God, your spouse, your citizens, your boss, your pastor, your staff, and so on.
  • You can pretend to be sick.
  • You can pretend like you care.
  • You can pretend over the phone. Someone you just insulted before picking his/her call will suddenly become your good friend. God sees everything.
  • You can pretend by living a fake life.
  • You can pretend to be a prayer warrior, prophet, Saint, humble, gentle, friendly, helper, and so on.

My friend, let it be clear to you, you can not make a fool of God.

  • He knows the thoughts of your heart.
  • He knows when you are covering-up, even when people don’t know.
  • He knows when you are lying, even if people are clapping for you.
  • God knows when what you are thinking is different from what you are saying.
  • He knows when you are angry, even though people are seeing someone that is laughing.
  • He knows when you are wishing that a fellow should die, even though you look so friendly.
  • He knows when you retaliate even when people think was a mistake.
  • He knows when you are proud even though many are seeing a cheerful giver.
  • He knows when you are bitter, even though you look happy.
  • He knows when you lust over ladies or men, even though no is thinking in that direction.
  • He knows when you watch porn movies and masturbate even when no one sees you.
  • He knows when you are stealing, even if you call it smartness.
  • He knows when you are fighting cold war, even though you don’t show it.
  • He’s there when you are speaking evil of that sister.
  • He’s there when you are pulling others down.
  • God is there when you are backbiting.
  • God sees you when you are molesting that little girl.
  • God sees you when you collect bribe, cheat during examination, kidnap, sleep with that sister in your heart, when you are doing fetish things to hurt your neighbor.
  • God knows when your action is false.
  • God knows when your silence is a scam or lie.
  • God knows when you are passing wrong information with your actions and inactions.
  • God knows when you are showing off, even if people are praising you.
  • God knows those that truly love Him.
  • He knows those that have pure hearts.

So whatever you do or say, be reminded that God is looking at you.

I am admonishing you to do good today and always and God will reward you bountifully in Jesus name.
