Holiness unto the Lord

Holiness unto the LordHoliness unto the Lord

Zechariah 14:20a “In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD.”

As lively stones, we are built a spiritual house, an holy priesthood to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. And that’s why Apostle Paul admonishes us to present our bodies as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto the LORD.

Forasmuch as we know we were not redeemed with corruptible things as silver and gold from the vain conversation received by tradition from our fathers; but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Therefore, our thoughts, our actions, our behaviors, our conducts, our dispositions, should be rendered as holiness unto God. Everything we do, that alarm must always come in, can this be offered as holiness unto God? If I should say this, will it be holiness unto the LORD? If I should join them, will it be counted as holiness unto God? That’s why Apostle Paul said, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.” Who himself lived all his life, pleasing the Father in holiness. We aught to follow his steps, for hereunto are we called.

The LORD commands us to daily offer up acceptable holy offerings (conversation) unto him because that’s the essence of the new convenant. That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hands of our enemies might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our lives.

Wherefore, let us lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save our souls. Lifting up holy hands to the LORD without wrath and doubt singing with grace in our hearts: holiness unto God.

With all meekness and long-suffering, forbearing one another in love as we see the day approaching, that we might not be ashamed when he shall appear, but be confident because as he is, so we are even in this present world without blemish and without spot.

Show me a holy man, and I will show you a man whose ways, conduct, attitude, conversation and disposition is pleasing in the sight of God, who counts his offerings and daily spiritual sacrifices as HOLINESS unto the LORD.
