IT IS SALVATION FROM SIN

IT IS SALVATION FROM SIN

_1 John 3:9 – Whosoever is born of God doth not commit; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God._

Jesus Christ would not have suffered so much, and die so miserable a death to produce cheap grace that will only be pleading with sin and not having power to break sin, subdue it, and overcome it.

The scripture says, _”For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men, teaching us to *DENY* ungodliness and worldly lusts…”_
When the grace of God comes into our lives, it teaches us the way of God, gives us power over sin, wrought in our hearts righteousness, imparts the divine nature, conforms our lives to the image of the Son of God, and makes us certified citizens of Heaven.

Why then is it that today so many profess to be born again, and yet *they are slaves of the flesh, secret sinners, workers of iniquities, and hypocrites?*
It is because the *Grace of God* has not taken its place in their lives.
When grace comes in, sin dissolves. For them under the New Convenant, it is written, _”For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law but under grace.”_ Shall we then continue in sin that grace may abound?

Years after professed salvation, no victory over sin, no conquered self-life, and no power over temptations. Where then is the salvation we profess?

Sin is the reason why Christ left heaven to this sinful world, to pay so huge and so great a sacrifice. How come then that sin doth reign even among them that profess to know Christ?
It may well be that we have not really known Christ. For if we know him, as the truth is in Jesus, the truth will make us free. And if the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed!

Reader, are you *Born Again?* Well you may refer to so and so date, counting years; but that matters not to God, *but a new creature.*
Do you have victory over secret and public sin? What are the old things that has passed away from your life? Where are the fruits of righteousness that we may approve ourselves unto God. For the kingdom of God is not in word but in the power of grace ruling and reigning over our hearts.

If we are not able to answer the above questions with vivid testimonies of holy living, it must have been proved without any iota of doubt that our claims of salvation is not true.

_”We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not, and he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.”_

This then is the message that God is light and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we belong to him and we walk in darkness we lie and know not the truth. *For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world.*

Therefore, let us examine ourselves and see if we truly have this salvation and the righteousness of God. If not, we may eventually not make it to heaven on the final day. Because the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, the Lord knoweth them that are his. And let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

A CHRISTIAN IS NOT A SINNER AND A SINNER IS NOT A CHRISTIAN.
