Sure safety
For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from fatal plague. He will shield you with his wings. He will shelter you with his feathers. His faithful promises are your armor and protection (Psalm 91:3,4 NLT).
These are critical times in the world. Even safety is at risk. Strong countries of the world are becoming vulnerable to unmanageable crises. Sad news pervades the air everyday. Today, there is hardly absolute safety anywhere in the world. Or is there?
According to Psalm 91, there is a place called the secret place of the Most High. It is a place of sure safety. The door that gives access into the place is faith in Christ Jesus and following His directions. There, He protects His own from deadly traps and plagues, shields them with His wings, and shelters them with His feathers.
Even if thousands are falling at our sides, these evils will not touch us. We will only see these with our eyes. No evil will conquer us, no plague will come near our dwelling. The reason is, God has ordered His angels to protect His children anywhere we go. They will hold us with their hands to keep us from striking our feet on a stone.
If satanic lions and snakes come against us (And I believe you know that there are no lovely snakes or kind-hearted lions), they will be crushed. When we call on Him, He will answer and deliver us from trouble. He will protect, rescue and honour us. We are also entitled to long life and complete salvation. Beloved, as God’s children, we need to continually appropriate all these promises as outlined in God’s word because they are meant for us. I pray, we shall be safe from all evils today and always. In Jesus mighty name!
