Times and Seasons (Part 2)
Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh (Luke 6:21, KJV).
No matter what part of the world you are in, there are poor and broke people around. Some people are so used to having all their needs met that it hardly occurs to them that there are needy people all around.
Are you in need? Did you just lose your job or source of income? Do you have more needs than your income can handle? Are you in a huge debt? Do you frequently go hungry due to lack? The good news is that God thinks about afflicted souls. Jesus promises that ‘…you will have plenty to eat’ (Luke 6:21, CEV).
Are you going through an ordeal right now which makes you weep? Is yours an experience of sorrow, failure or disappointment? There’s hope for you because Jesus promised that you shall have reasons to laugh. So cheer up. Make sure to surrender to Jesus and commune with Him intimately. A new season is coming soon. Things will turn around to give you joy. In Jesus name!
Perhaps you are practically hungry and have little or nothing to eat; God is going to make a way for you today. Are you weeping because of a particular problem or challenge? The God who loves and cares for you will remember you and comfort you today. How He will do it should not concern you so much. But He will give you reasons to rejoice and make your joy full. You may not have enough right now. But you will have surplus very soon. In the mighty name of Jesus!
