Unity

UnityUnity

‘Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven’ (Matthew 18:19; NKJV).

There are things that are far more easily achieved in unity than in singularity. When we jointly combine forces together as a family or a group, there’s a great move of God’s Spirit on our behalf to do the unusual. While five can chase a hundred, a hundred can put ten thousand to flight, says Leviticus 26:8. Obviously “the more, the stronger” is a spiritual principle which is well established in the scriptures.

Because the devil understands the power of unity at the family, group or church level, he does everything to make sure it doesn’t work. But through the unity produced by our submission to the Holy Spirit, we can actually work together as an undivided team. This gives Glory to God and blessings to us.

Unity flourishes in an atmosphere of love but is destroyed where pride reigns. The Bible actually says contention comes by pride (Proverbs 13:10). So Satan tries to use it to cause contention with the ultimate aim of destroying joint prayer efforts which could spell havoc to his kingdom and agendas.

When we humble ourselves before God and one another, the Holy Spirit gives us divine revelations into the will of God, and this brings us into unity of heart and purpose. Our prayers and meditations thereafter flow with such consonance that deeper revelations pour in without any contradictions whatsoever among us.

We see same or similar revelations given to two or more members of the group with confirmation in everyone’s spirit. Each time something like this happens, the devil suffers untold loss while unusual blessings are released upon us.

We can achieve much better results when we pursue divine goals together than when alone. Intercessions become easier and more effective too. A greater manifestation of the anointing also springs into manifestation. Dearly beloved, as a couple, family or church; we need to let go of pride, anger, bitterness, offences and other things that stand in the way of our spiritual unity. I pray; may we become a formidable team to the kingdom of hell. In Jesus mighty name!

Today’s Corporate Prayer: We stand against anything causing disunity in the body of Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus!
