What makes the followers of Jesus extraordinary is the fact that they came in contact with the extraordinary God. No one remains the same after having met Jesus. This is one powerful truth that no one can fault.
Acts 4:13, “Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus.”
Jesus’ twelve disciples were average men. Peter, Andrew, James and John were average, everyday fishermen, living ordinary, average lives, doing ordinary, average jobs. But then, they met Jesus and surprisingly, everything took a new turn. That even people around who knew their background attested to the fact that there was a remarkable change. Undeniably , when ordinary people have encounter with Jesus, they start the journey to living the extraordinary life.

2. Get to know Jesus Better Through His Word
You cannot possibly get much out of the extraordinary life Christ offers if you barely know him. God has given everyone a free access to get to know him better personally through his word (the Bible).
3. Be a Person of Prayer
Prayer is one the avenues through which God reveals very deep secrets to anyone who desires more with him. If you want to live nothing short of the extraordinary life in Christ then you should never neglect prayer.
4. Pursue Righteousness
Proverbs 21:21 says, “Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life, righteousness, and honour.” In spite of what the world and our flesh say, we must pursue godliness and righteousness.
5. Have the kind of Faith That’s Resilient
A true follower of Jesus ought to have the kind of faith that remains constant against all odds.
Perhaps, you desire more out of life, then you need to take advantage of the extraordinary life that Christ offers. Without doubt, we live in a dark world, full of lies, hate and confusion. There are also, many searching for worth, hope and understanding and you’ll find these answers in Christ.
