The Good Shepherd (Part 2)
Psalm 23 : 1 “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.”
For the Psalmist to declare Lord Jesus as his shepherd, it means there is another shepherd. That’s the bad shepherd, the devil.
The plan of the bad shepherd is to lead you astray. Devil’s plan is to give you a false hope. The bad shepherd always adds sorrow to the blessing he gives to his sheep. Like giving them money in exchange for their wives, children, health, parents, and finally cut off the life of his victim at the prime of his life. He is a perfect liar. He’s father of all lies.
The disadvantages of following the bad shepherd are : bitterness, rejection, oppression, defeat, disgrace, humiliation, sorrow, crying, weeping, emptiness, backwardness, disappointment, discouragement, shame, bad luck, failure, setback, confusion, frustration, calamities, etc. And his ultimate gift is eternal fire. His goal and mission is to have companions in hell fire.
This bad shepherd is fully in charge of the lives of all the people that have not truly accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. He is directing their lives without their knowledge. He’s kicking them like a ball to wherever he likes. This bad shepherd has nothing good to offer. Run to the good shepherd today and it shall be well with you.
