But the…sexually immoral…shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Revelation 21:8, NKJV).

All that we need to live a morally upright life is in the word of God. When families disobey Godly principles, sorrow is inevitable. Today it is no longer strange that spouses cheat on each other, thereby, sowing the toxic seed of marital unfaithfulness and distrust in the tender hearts of their children. These kids gradually become unhappy, confused and hard-hearted. And sadly, this negative mindset grows with them into adulthood.

Have you seen young people who are emotional wrecks, so to say? They prefer to keep to themselves. They don’t relate well with family members, friends, colleagues or neighbours. In fact, they don’t see themselves having successful marriages. In other words, they have prepared their minds for failed marriages because they see marriage as a fraud. So when they get married, they lack the capacity to open their hearts to love their spouses even when such spouses truly love them. These are some of the things parents’ sexual immorality does to their children.

Unfortunately in many parts of the world, adultery, fornication, ‘gay-ism’ or lesbianism is no longer an issue. Newspapers, billboards and mobile phones have become centers for the display of sexually provocative stuffs. Rape, pedophilia and divorce cases are constantly on the rise. Music and movies now use immorality as a bait to lure people into consuming their contents. This has been promoting lust, lack of chastity and spiritual defilement among adults and young ones.

Today our hospitals, prisons and social institutions are filled to capacity, courtesy of lustful passion. Different STD’s and STI’s are ravaging our communities because we disregard God’s instructions by endorsing immorality. Broken relationships, broken marriages, broken hearts, wasted destinies, single mothers, abortions, deaths, damaged wombs, corrupt young minds, increasing rape cases, addiction to masturbation, pornography, and so on, are its horrendous consequences.

Are you held down in a deep sexual dungeon? Has your life become stagnated as a result of past sexual atrocities? Is there something you are still hiding from your spouse which is not unconnected to your past immoral life? Are you having sex with someone to whom you are not married? Are you a married woman who defiles young boys who are in their teens? The first thing God needs from you is repentance. You need to confess your wrongs and seek Godly counsel, after which you seek total deliverance in the place of prayer. May you be healed and free indeed. In Jesus mighty name!
