Daniel 3:16-18
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered, “Your Majesty, we will not try to defend ourselves. If the God whom we serve is able to save us from the blazing furnace and from your power, then he will. But even if he doesn’t, Your Majesty may be sure that we will not worship your god, and we will not bow down to the gold statue that you have set up.”
The situation of things nowadays may look terrible, many are passing through life challenges; Some are sick, some have lost their job, some are persecuted, some are intimidated, some are harassed, some are mocked, some are disgraced, some are under pressure, some are discouraged, some have been disappointed, some are oppressed, some are facing confrontation, some are in difficult situations, some are tempted.
The word of God for you today is, “bow not.” No matter the challenges, situation, affliction, difficulties, pressure, harassment, mockery, etc, bow not! Hold on to the author and finisher of your faith.
The three Hebrews had so many reasons to bow; they should have been afraid of losing their position, they should have been annoyed with God for allowing the Babylonians conquer them, they were aware that their people were slaves of Babylon. But they still chose to identify with God. This should have been a great opportunity to be in the good book of King Nebuchadnezzar.
Joseph said to Potiphar’s wife, “how then could I do such an immoral thing and sin against God?” remember rapture is about taking place. The race is almost over. Don’t give in to the devil, resist him and he will flee. Bow not!
I pray the devil will not rejoice over your life in Jesus name.
