God’s Mercy

If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse from all unrighteousness. For he that covereth his sins shall not prosper but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall be all have mercy. For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful and will not turn away his face from you if ye return unto him, but thou art God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness and forsaketh them not.

And the Lord passeth by before him and proclaim “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundant in goodness and truth, the Lord is merciful and gracious,slow to anger and plenteous in mercy.”

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Not by works of righteousness which we have done but according to his mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost.

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee, bind about thy neck, write them upon their hear, let them not depart from thine eyes, keep them in the midst of thine heart, for they are life unto those that find them and health to all their flesh. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us.

Finally beloved, “He is ever merciful and lendeth and his seed blessed”. Blessed is the merciful for they shall obtain mercy. Let us therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in the time of need. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen!
