Staying in touch (3)

…desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby (I Peter 2:2, KJV).

One of the strongest strategies of the devil is to keep Christians from the word of God but gives them access to men’s philosophies and popular opinions that are contrary to the Word of God. The reason why so many Christians believe in what the devil can do more than in what God can do is nothing but the neglect of the Word of God in daily fellowship.

Great things happen as we continue to study the scriptures. We discover many wonderful promises of God to us which we never knew before. We get to know the reason(s) why we couldn’t grow up spiritually like we should. Reading the Word of God ought to be our major desire everyday. And the word of God also covers good Christian books and materials. Such books are good because you can actually buy the one addressing your particular areas of spiritual need.

Fellowshipping with God cannot be compromised if we must survive the onslaught of our adversary, the devil. We fall into error many times because we make decisions based on sources other than God’s word and leading. No one can abandon the Word of God and still claim to be in active fellowship with God.

Unbroken fellowship with God sanctifies, builds faith, impacts change, overwhelms us with peace, cleanses our thoughts, produces hope, generates joy, transforms lives, changes situations, inspires Godliness, provokes miracles, enforces victory, destroys unbelief, overcomes temptation, enables the spirit of forgiveness, activates the spirit of love, settles the future, increases the anointing, and so on. We must be in consonance with God through our unbroken fellowship with Him. Two cannot work together except they agree. May we not be disconnected from Him. In Jesus mighty name!
