Everywhere you go in the world today, people lament about the rate and spate human killings are going on in the world. And if these murders are only happening here alone in the world we know it’s the world such is bound to happen. The world is a hiding and breeding place for sin, evil and such that do wickedly on Earth. The world doesn’t know God! It’s not holy! It’s not pure! It’s not Christ centred! It’s not godly conscious. It is only a place evil and sin controls, rejoices and triumph which we know.

And all these killing are with gun and bullet, sword, arrow, etc. The world kills by physical weapons. The Church which is supposed to be a place of refuge for the oppressed, deprived and helpless ones, have become a place where more of these are being done and carried out, than in the world. Now there are many  Murders in the Church than in the world, yet the Church does not know this. And the people do not realize it!

No wonder the Bible says that judgment shall start from the house of God. For the things that are happening in the world are also happening now in the house of God. The world kills by carnal weapons. The Church kills through spiritual wickedness. The world’s weapons of killing are gun, sword, arrow, etc. And the Church weapons of killing and murder are, hate, envy, jealousy, gossip, unforgiveness, lie, cheating, deception, pride, adultery, malice, anger, impatience and fornication.

Yet they do not know that these sins before God are treated as acts of murder in His sight. If not so, why did the Bible say that he that hates his brother is a murderer? This tells us that a murderer before God is not only when you physically shed the blood of someone, though the world can only charge you for murder case when you kill, but God’s own charge for murder case is hatred.

So are there not many murderers in the Church today whose actions, ways and lifestyles have caused the spiritual and physical death of their pastors, members and Churches to collapse and fall? The gifts of the Spirit that is working in their midst stopped working and functioning. The miracles, signs and wonders that were done in their midst stopped.

No more spiritual and numerical growth of the Church. There is no more movement of God in their midst due to their sins and evil. The presence of God cannot move in a Church where the pastor is in loggerhead with the church council, no reconciliation. The choir master in malice with a choir member, no settlement; deacons, elders and church members, all against themselves without forgiving one another for the sake of God and peace.

The work of God cannot thrive and succeed there because God’s eyes cannot behold iniquity. He walks where peace is enthroned. That was why He warned the Children of Israel to keep their camps clean lest He sees any unclean thing in their midst and depart from them. To confirm this message! A certain man of God declared a seven days fasting and prayer program in his Church. On the last day of the program the Lord told him that many members of his Church are committing adultery and fornication inside and outside the Church, that they should come out to the altar for prayer.

Immediately he said this, many of them started coming out, including his wife. The moment the pastor opened his eyes and saw his wife coming also out he fell down immediately and fainted. It was a shock and surprising thing to him that his wife was also among the murderers in the Church. If the pastor could eventually die as a result of this, who do we say that killed him? Sisters answer this!

What kills a man fast is the unfaithfulness of the woman. Men hate to share their wives with another man. And what kills a woman quick is abandonment, maltreatment and lack of proper care. Women love a caring man. So are you one of those murderers in the church today? if you are one, the Lord is calling you today to repent. For no murderer shall see God, only those their garments are white, their lives clean and their hearts pure, shall see God.
