Are you prepared for heaven?
John 14:2-3 “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
Brethren, our Lord Jesus Christ is preparing a place for us over there in yonder place. As it is written: “Eyes hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Let us strive and do all we can by the grace of God to get to heaven.
That heaven is too glorious to miss. If the Lord should open your eyes to see the glory that awaits faithful Christians, and the heavenly treaures laid up in store for triumphant saints, you’ll stop that superficial, shallow, metal making noise profession. I pray that your name is written in the book of life in heaven. It’s a serious matter my friend.
Just imagine this: I dreamt, in it, I searched heaven for that devoted brother, that committed sister, searched vainly through heaven for you; O won’t you prepare to meet me up there? Please I beseech you, seek holiness and ensue it, lest we would search heaven for you. Don’t allow anyone deceive you. And don’t let the lives of some who claim to be Christians but are not living scripturally; having the form of godliness, but lacking the power to deceive you.
I dreamt again, I had gone to that city, that city where never comes night, and I saw the bright angels in glory, I saw the fair mansions of light; my God! O give Reagan holiness and he’s satisfied. And I gazed for long, long years of rapture, on the face of my Saviour so true; and I sang with the seraphims holy. Then I dreamt again where I searched heaven for you.
My brethren, if you miss heaven, you’ll do more than crying. This is the time for you to retrace your steps back to the place where you’ve missed a lot, and He will still be there waiting for you. There’s no holier than thou here, but the reality of the gospel truth. The world is coming to an end very soon, and the close of the church age is drawing near. WHO WILL ESCAPE?
Think about that beautiful land of glory, the city and the streets are made of gold; where the Lamb is the light of the city, the holy Ghost nourishes them with his effluence like a stream, and God’s presence hovers around it like a barricade. Where there will be no more death, nor night there, but joy for ever. Will you be there?
If you want to be there, you follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
