Divinely Designed
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:27, KJV).
Man was created in the resemblance of God, though not in the sense of his physical look or body anatomy, for God is a spirit Being. Our resemblance of him is actually reflected in our intellectuality, sociality and morality.
When we feel good about doing something kind or virtuous, or feel bad about wrong behaviour, it confirms that we were made in God’s moral image. Anytime we make a friend, hug someone, attend a Godly gathering, or get married, we reflect God’s social nature (See Genesis 1:26). Every time we come up with an innovative idea or an uncommon insight, solve problems, write a book, or invent something useful to mankind, it is divine intellectuality manifesting in man.
Adam was created a perfect man, but his disobedience corrupted God’s image in him. Since then the intellectuality, sociality or morality of the unsaved, natural man has been corrupted. It cannot satisfy or please God because it is profaned. It is this corruption that introduced sin, sickness, wickedness, sexual perversions, increased interest in things that displease God, amidst other problems, into the life of mankind.
But despite that, God did not give up on man. He still restores into a state of Godliness and wholeness, those who accept his Son. He does this through a process of renewing their minds by his word (See Romans 12:2). This is the way mankind becomes acceptable to God. So if you want your intellectuality, sociality, morality and your total personality to be acceptable to God, you must accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour today. I pray, may you not be a nobody as far as God is concerned. In Jesus name!
