Freedom from sin in Christ

Freedom from sin in ChristFreedom from sin in Christ

Romans 6:18 “Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.”

You know, some people do not believe that someone can be free from sin. But the Bible teaches that we can, and the blood of Christ has the power to destroy all sin. Some who have not experienced the grace of God may still argue the word of God, rather than argue with them, pray that God should do it for them. After all, experience is the best teacher.

The Bible says, “He that commiteth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” If Christ came to destroy all the works of the devil, will he not do it in the lives of those who trust in him? Freedom from sin is possible in Christ, and the power of God operating in the heart of man, through the unction of the holy Spirit perfects it.

Those who have really tasted the real grace of God in their lives, know that freedom from all known sins is attainable in Christ. “For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”

We can be free from sin, O yes, we can be free from sin. So that we being delivered out of the hands of our enemies might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our lives. So now, you see, being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

There’s wonderful power in the blood. And yes I know, am very sure, the blood of Jesus can make the vilest sinner clean. I don’t say it in the name of religion but by His mercy and love, I’ve experienced God’s matchless, infinite, marvellous grace. And in my heart I don’t say I think or I hope, I say I know God can do it. Therefore, knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Praise the LORD!

Worry no more, cry no more saying, “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? JESUS is our great deliverer. He will save your soul, he will sanctify your heart, he will purify your spirit, he will destroy all the works of the flesh and save you from the power of self. O come now to the Saviour, he’s Jesus Christ.

It is finished on the cross, my sins were finished on the Cross.
