Genesis 26 : 34-35, 27:46

Judith and Bashemath are the two Hittite ladies that Esau married. Their belief was totally different from that of Esau. Their upbringing was totally different. They only knew how to worship idols. They knew the names of different idols.

Some things that are sin to God were acceptable to their idol. God’s law stated that “thou shall not kill” but their idol would not stop asking for the blood of people to drink. While worshipping their idol, sex was welcome contrary to the way Yahweh was worshipped. The culture and background of these two Hittite ladies were quite different. So by the time Esau married them, they started misbehaving and frustrated the life of Esau’s parents.

Question to the wives;

What kind of wife are you? Judith or Deborah? Bashemath or Rebecca? Jezebel or Mary? Herodias or Sarah? Potiphar’s wife or Dorcas?

This is time for reconciliation if you have been having issues with your mother-in-law. This is the time to show her love because one day, MARK MY WORD, you will also become a mother-in-law.

Why not tell God to forgive you your sins right away

I pray God will close the gap between you and your mother-in-law in Jesus name.
