This is our third day on this topic. Let’s move on by God’s grace to bring this topic to a close today.
7. DCM (Department of Carnal Minds): ‘For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace’, says Romans 8:6 (KJV). To be carnally minded means to be overly concerned about the things of this world while neglecting God’s kingdom’s purposes. When your thoughts and priorities are far from pleasing God but to satisfy self or when all your goals are about earthly achievement without any efforts to be heavenly relevant, you belong to this department. Students of this class may appear religious, but they are still babies in the things of the spirit. Their primary and only reason for serving God is what they can get from Him.
8. DUL (Department of Understanding ‘Lackers’): This department was talked about in Prov. 21:16 (NIV), that ‘A man who strays from the way of understanding comes to rest in the company of the dead. Any man who lacks understanding goes from one tragic error to another. He believes more in his physical efforts than in having faith in God. He needs to devote and open himself up for the entrance of God’s word. The Bible says, ‘The entrance of thy words… giveth understanding unto the simple’ (Psa. 119:130, KJV). Anyone who lacks understanding belongs to the Faculty of the Dead.
9. DWD (Department of Wrong Direction): Prov. 14:12 (NIV) says: ‘There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end leads to death.’ Due to lack of understanding, man often veers off into wrong directions. Many people have wrong beliefs about God and His redemption plan. Some who claim to believe in God still consult the devil in times of challenge. There are many ways that seem right to men, but the only way that leads to Life is God’s way. Don’t follow the way of the spiritually dead. Reject the school of death where Satan rules. Enrol in the School of Life today and discover true freedom in Christ. Admission is free!!!
