Tares

TaresTares

‘…when the grain had sprouted…the tares also appeared’ (Mathew 13:26, NKJV).

Jesus gave a parable about a farmer who planted good seed in his field. That night, while his hired men are sleeping, his enemies sowed tares all through the wheat and went away. When the shoots sprouted and the grain began to form, the tares showed up too. The hired men now said to the farmer, “We sowed good seed in the field. How then does it have tares?” the farmer knew what had transpired. So he told them point blank that the enemy had done it.

Jesus later explained that He was actually the farmer who planted the good seed (See verse 37) and that the enemy who planted the tares among the wheat was the devil (verse 39). When good things grow up in our lives, they were planted there by God. Peace, joy, progress, prosperity, success and so on are planted by Him. But, on the other hand, the devil is responsible for the evil things which contaminate the good things God has done in the lives of people.

His evil operations are carried out when men are asleep. ‘Asleep’ here could mean in the physical and/or spiritual sense. That’s why it’s important not to take certain dreams for granted for they reveal to us if the enemy had sown some tares into our lives while we were ‘asleep’.

Any dream where someone is pressing down one’s head or where one is naked should not be taken as ordinary. In a like manner, eating in the dream or having sex in the dream is a spiritual tare intended to demote, bewitch, cage, pollute or steal one’s glory.

Whatever is not of God can and must be uprooted. Jesus said that every plant not planted by our heavenly Father will be rooted out (Matthew 15:13). Have you had a dream of being pursued, enslaved, captured, caged, imprisoned, naked, raped, married to another person, taken to a strange, unknown destination or being chained? You don’t have to wait till those evil seeds sprout up. You have to prayerfully uproot every seed of the enemy. I pray that all the efforts of the enemy over your life shall be completely frustrated. In Jesus name!

Today’s Corporate Prayer: Every mobile altar of the enemy, following me unknowingly, come out of me and catch fire. In Jesus mighty name!
