‘…men always ought to pray and not lose heart’ (Luke 18:1, NKJV).

The devil hates it when you make up your mind to become a prayer firebrand. So, he tends to increase his attack and tries to bamboozle you into stopping your prayers. If, instead of stopping, you increase your prayer tempo and give yourself to the service of the Lord; everything will start to take shape and God will start dealing with your obstacles one after the other. Even when some individuals are the troubles behind your travails, God doesn’t mind taking them out of the way.

When, despite thinking that you have prayed enough, you are yet to have desirable results; you should change your thinking. Some people get discouraged after a season of prayer not realizing that doing so reflects being captured by the devil who doesn’t want them to be free. To believe that it is your fate to bear a particular problem is nothing but another satanic delusion.

The Bible charges us that every man ought to pray and not to faint. This charge is necessitated by the fact that, like a hungry lion, the devil roams around seeking whom to devour. If in real life you come face to face with a real lion and you have a rifle with you; what will you do knowing that you either kill it or it kills you?

Of a truth, life is a battlefield. Folding one’s arms at the battlefront or joking with the enemy is not a wise thing to do. Vigilance is key on the battlefield. Without it one becomes spiritually dull and receives darts from the enemies’ camp.

It is also important to know who your enemies are. Without knowing the real enemies, you’ll be fighting the wrong people. A lot of people have been fighting the wrong enemies for years. Until you come to a good understanding of the enemy’s wickedness, you will not take spiritual warfare the way it should be taken.

It is by aggressive prayer that we get effective on the battlefield. The longer we stay in prayer, the surer our victory gets. The more we pray; the more satanic soldiers we bring down; the stronger we get against satanic oppression and dominion; the more the hidden bondages are broken; the stronger you get against satanic oppression and dominion; the more the hidden armories and strongholds of the opponents are demolished.

To get strong on the battlefield and not become a spiritual casualty, we must have a healthy prayer life; meditate regularly on the word of God; fast regularly and be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Today’s Corporate Prayer: My spirit man, receive divine fire. In Jesus name!
