Differences Between Tithe And The Law

The law came by Moses. But tithe came by God from of old. So tithe is older than the law. The law was given in the Mosaic time to the Children of Israel in the wilderness before their entrance and inheritance of the land of Canaan as a Nation.

While tithe is like the ordinances of heaven in age like the sun, moon and stars in nature that cannot be moved or removed from their places of location and appointment.
Tithe was only enshrined and incorporated into law when the law was given as one of the ordinances of the law that cannot be revoked. That is what makes tithe different from the law because of its irrevocable status that makes it impossible for revocation.

“Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: thou had established the earth, and it abides. They continue this day according to thy ordinances” Psalm 119: 90-91.

This is what made tithe different from the law and prophets that was a divine constitution of written documents that made up the Supreme, Sundry and Levitical laws.
The supreme laws represented the Ten Commandments, the sundry laws were the civil, status, precepts, judgments, testimonies and ordinances of the law that are irrevocable. While the Levitical laws was a focus on the priesthood order of Aaron which had been reformed, abolished and replaced with the eternal Priesthood order of Christ that is according to the order of Melchizedek which cannot be changed or nullified which Christ represents.

Due to the fact that the Levitical priesthood order was faulty and based on carnal ordinances of washing of hands, feet and shedding of animal’s blood of goats, sheep and bulls that was a temporal solution or provision for sins that cannot be perfectly and permanently atoned by animals blood, as well as the human failure of life that cannot also allow men in this office to continue forever due to death and the imperfection and human weakness of the holders and custodians of this office who do enter into the holy of the holies yearly to intercede for the people and themselves.

But were not made to continue in this office forever due to age, death and flaws and imperfection of the Levitical priesthood order. But by the atoning Blood of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary He entered once into the holy of the holies to obtain help for us in the time of need, thereby destroying the hand writing against us on the wall.

When He had by the spirit of His eternal Blood offered Himself for us so that He could purchase and obtain a better resurrection for us whereby He could become the Captain of our eternal salvation, not made with the carnal ordinances of the law, but with the power of an endless life Hebrews 7: 11-12, 16-19.

While the sundry laws which represented the civic laws of governance, administration,
Leadership, security of human lives and properties, moral norms, customs, traditions and their holistic approach and ways of life that reminds them of the goodness of God, His mercies. Love, kindness, favour, faithfulness, testimonies, judgments, precepts, ordinances, power, glory, miracles, works of old, strength, righteousness, holiness, word of truth, unchangeability,
Immutability, infallibility and God’s signs and wonders in heaven, earth and in their lives were not abrogated or repealed.

But still remain effective and enforced till today even unto the coming of the Lord. So tithe is different from the Levitical laws. It is an ordinance that is to be kept and observed forever.

“And the statutes, and the ordnances, and the law (sundry), and the commandments (supreme), which he wrote for you, you shall observe to do forever” 2 Kings17: 37.

“That they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God!” Ezekiel 11: 20.

“Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you” 1 Corinthians 11: 2.
