Aren’t you contradicting yourself?

Aren't you contradicting yourself?Aren’t you contradicting yourself?

These days, it’s very common to see parents insulting their children. I’ve seen parents insulting their children, in other words, using abusive words on their children. Nevertheless, during church service when pastor says pray for your children to prosper in life, you will hear these parents praying on top of their voices with the same mouth they’ve used to lay curses on their children. Can curses and blessings come out of the same mouth? Why contradicting your self?

This was exactly what Balaam did in (Numbers 22:8), he wanted to curse God’s people yet he was seeking for a “go ahead” from God. What a contradiction! Can you get sweet and bitter from a meal? It’s either it’s sweet or bitter.

  • You re asking God for a spirit-filled wife that’s a slay queen and you expect an answer. Don’t contradict yourself.
  • You are praying God to give you a pastor as a husband but with dress sense of Justin Bieber. Why the contraction?
  • You sell cigarettes and you’re praying to God to bless your business. Why are you contradicting yourself? Change your line of business first.
  • You re a sinner and you re praying for eternal life when you haven’t repented. Remember “the soul that sinneth, it shall die” repent first.
  • You vowed not to forgive certain people and you’re asking God for forgiveness. Where will it come from? Stop that contradiction!
  • You want God to prosper you but don’t pay your tithe. Stop it , the Bible says bring ye all the tithe then he will open heaven upon you.

One day, I went out for evangelism with one of my brothers and the lady we were preaching to said, “a psychic can even go to heaven without repenting.” She even defended it by saying that the minds of some psychics are not in what they do. In other words, she was basically trying to imply that if your heart is not in the negative things you’re doing then there’s still a chance you would make heaven. What an erroneous belief!

The Bible says where your treasure is that’s where your heart is. If the treasure is in being a psychic, their heart is definitely there!

On a final note, let’s put an end to all these contradictions. Choose the right path and align to it. Ensure everything you pray for is in alignment with God’s precepts.
