Heaven: The Place You Shouldn’t Miss

Heaven: The Place You Shouldn’t Miss

There will be no nights! Only the Light of our glorious Savior Jesus, no tears, no death, no sorrow, no separation, no aches or pains, no end of praises, no more curses, no hunger, no thirst, no bills, no storms, no sickness, no lying, no cheating, no backstabbing, no fake people, no stealing, no babies dying, no killing, no hatred, no more daily battles with the devil, no more many other thousands of terrible things that have plagued us here on earth.

”The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night ther” – Revelation 21:23 & 25.

Until now, a lot of people try to downplay the fact that heaven is real as well as hell. Some are of the opinion that God isn’t that heartless to send the people he created to hell after all.

However, heaven remains a reality that those believe in Jesus Christ would experience when this world wraps up. At the end of our journeys here on earth, nothing else would matter nor make any meaning. The only thing that would count is the relationship one had with Jesus.

You know, just like when an alien goes to a new country, he/she gains entry into that land with a valid passport (visa). In the same vein, in the country (heaven – God’s country) where believers are headed, the relationship we had with Jesus would be the only thing that would determine if we’re granted entry or not.

For those who would make it, what a reunion it would be in that glorious place with family, friends (who made it) and people we have only heard or read about. The likes of Jesus Himself in all His full glory, the Angels, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, etc.

Heaven and the surprises that would be there

There would be both pleasant and unpleasant surprises on the day that Jesus would return to take away his very own elects.

Some of these surprises in heaven would be:

  • Some of the persons you were sure would make it, might actually not make it to heaven.
  • There would be a lot of people you probably wrote off and perhaps concluded that they would never make heaven, that would actually do.

On a final note, amongst all the things we treasure and tenaciously hold on to, none of these things is worth missing heaven for. Therefore, choose wisely as you make up your mind about where to spend eternity.
