It is visible

It is VisibleIt is visible

I’ve always thought faith was an abstract thing until I came across the scripture that says “when Jesus saw their faith he said unto the sick of palsy, son thy sin be forgiven thee” – Mark 2:5. Jesus saw their faith, he saw it!!

Yes faith isn’t just an abstract thing, it is visible, it is seen. Jesus didn’t have to discern to know if they had faith, no, he saw their faith. It was very glaring to Jesus!

Jesus saw their faith by their action. When they saw that they couldn’t bring the man sick of palsy before Jesus because of the crowd, they didn’t give up, they went ahead to uncover the roof in order to bring the sick man before Jesus. What an action!

Action is the evidence of faith, no wonder the Bible says faith without work( action) is dead.

Nigeria is in a turbulent time, bad governance, insecurity, economic crises, etc. It’s a good thing almost everyone now knows that it’s only God who can bring us out of this present situation.

We’ve started encouraging ourselves with words like, “a better Nigeria is emerging”, “God will heal our land”, “a better Nigeria is going to be birthed and many more”. They’re good but have we applied action to these confessions , has our faith been seen by God through our actions?

Before a new baby would be born, the mother must apply action by travailing! If a new Nigeria must be birth then we must travail on our knees. Have we really taken our time to pray for our nation, Nigeria? God is fully aware of our present state, still, he wants to see our faith, he wants to see it by our action!

Can we really say we’ve applied actions? Remember nothing goes for nothing, for peace to reign we have to pray.

  • If you aren’t praying for Nigeria at this crucial time, you re wrong!
  • If you have been praying, keep praying.

Let’s make our faith visible to God, this can only be done by applying efforts and actions!

Finally, remember that the prayer of a sinner is an abomination to God, if you aren’t saved repent first, then will your prayers be heard.
