Receiving Pardon

Receiving Pardon

Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin (Romans 4:7,8, RSV).

Is there any man who has not made a mistake? Can you show me a woman who has not done something wrong? The answer to these questions is no. Man may not escape the consequences of his mistakes but if he lets God, God can make something good come out of his errors and wrongs.

The Bible says; if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). So, confessing what you have done wrong to God and sincerely asking for pardon from someone you have hurt sets you free from the after effect of your actions.

Then, you can now develop stronger and better relationships with God and man, including those that you have hurt and have hurt you. Anytime you fall into error, go to God. Confess and forsake it. Then, you will experience how God brings something good out of bad circumstances. I pray that where your strength has failed, God’s mercy shall take over for you. In Jesus name!

Today’s Corporate Prayer: O Lord, I ask for pardon and mercy over my past wrongs. Let everything turn around for good, for me. In Jesus mighty name!
