Restoration of glory (Part 1)
Text: Genesis 41:40-41 (GNB)
I will put you in charge of my country, and all my people will obey your orders. Your authority will be second only to mine. I now appoint you governor over all Egypt.
God created everyone and everything after creating the heaven and earth. He created them with glory. The sun, moon, stars, rivers, oceans, human beings, animals, flowers, angels, planets, fish, and so on, were all created with glory. Later, God gave man the ability to invent things like airplane, bulb, phone, television, electricity, vehicle, building, etc. Everything created or invented has its own glory.
God created every man with a unique glory. However, some have lost theirs when they were still ‘sleeping’ i.e. when they were yet to see anything about their glory. Holiness messages meant nothing to them because God had not shown them a glimpse of their glorious future.
That is the major reason why you see some pastors, choristers, ushers, deacons and elders keeping sexual appointment right from the church. Because they are still sleeping spiritually, they are playing with sin. Before many discover that they have a glorious future, the devil would have stolen it; just like Adam and Eve lost theirs in the Garden of Eden. It is a pity that many people lost it before they became serious with God.
