SANCTIFICATION, only for the true believers in Christ

SANCTIFICATION, only for the true believers in ChristSANCTIFICATION, only for the true believers in Christ

2 Thessalonians 2:13 “But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.”

Today, many people see sanctification as something very difficult and almost impossible. But they do not understand that it is the same God who saves, that also sanctifies. The problem of sin is of two folds, the inward and the outward. And the solution to the problem of sin is of two folds, the inward and the outward solution.

God knows that without sanctification, purification, the cleansing of the heart, and the holiness of heart, our walk with him, and service unto him will be stiff-necked, and not perfect. That’s why the eternal God, the ever blessed, undivided triune God promised sanctification, and he’s fulfilling it in the lives of his saints.

The reason sanctification still seems like an impossible thing to attain to most people is because they were never saved. They just religiously want sanctification without the first grace of Christ’s righteousness imputed in them. How can somebody who is without a house, and not with the key to open the door get what is within? You are not saved, genuinely born again, truly converted with a good testimony of your salvation experience, and you expect sanctification? No, grace doesn’t work that way. If there was never a JUSTIFICATION, there will be no SANCTIFICATION.

Undoubtedly, that’s why many who profess to be born again Christians easily go back to the world because they haven’t gotten the heart of Christ. “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved,” why? Salvation is not just to raise up your hand and then you say I’m born again.

Salvation is not just to recite the sinners prayer and then you say I’m born again. Salvation is not just to be emotional about a message, and then you say I’m born again. Salvation comes first after genuine repentance with a definite decision of not going back to your vomit again.

After a settled case of genuine repentance, that’s when regeneration takes place in a flash. Operated within by the Holy Spirit, which brings the joy of the Lord to your soul, and the peace of Christ in your heart. Old things are passed away, and behold all things are become new.

Sanctification will not take place instantly. But as you continue your walk with God, you’ll begin to notice that there is still the propensity of sin within you. And the LORD will allow you undergo the recesses of the adamic nature so as to be sure and ascertain when sanctification takes place in your heart. And when this is done, heaven registers you among the elect, after being called into the kingdom.

Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ.” Oh blessed experience of the gracious sanctification. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Dear reader, are you sanctified?
