The Supremacy of Love

Jesus who died on the cross for you, what have you done for Him?
Oh!, He died on the cross for you and for me, He died on the cross for all of us, He died on the cross for every single one of us! The question is, what have you done for Him?

Love is Supreme

Christ paid a supreme price that the worth is inestimable. When compared, it’s incomparable. It’s matchless, if anyone tries to match it. The value of the price Jesus paid is invaluable and priceless.

The weight of it is unweighable. The estimate of it is inestimable. The ton of it is unmatchable. The cost of it is incalculable, expensive, priceless, high and undeterminable.

And the thought, language and words of it is unspeakable, inexpressible, indescribable and unutterable. Nonetheless, Jesus paid the supreme price. He gave it out at the expense of His own Blood. Gave up the ghost in His deep compassion and mercy.

He left His throne in heaven out of an unfathomable love for us. In spite of being God, He made Himself of no reputation. He took on flesh and became a man in order to save us.

In order to give us peace, joy and life everlasting, He dropped His position, place, relationship, fellowship and dinning and drinking with the greatest of all, highest of all, and biggest of all to dwell, sojourn and be with mortal sinful hungry and angry unclean lost men.

Although, there are many mansions in His Father’s house, He lived without a hut, room or place to lay His head. He never had an abode to call His own. That was why He said “foxes have holes, the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of the Highest has no place to lay His head.” None would have done this but only Jesus!

Finally, I would ask you, what have you done for Jesus? He who shed His blood for you, died for you. Until now, He sustains you, feeds you, preserves you, gives you health, breath, peace, joy and security. Where others die, you live and where others fail you succeed! What have you done for Him? This calls for a sober reflection.
