Absolutely convinced
He was absolutely convinced that God was able to do anything he promised (Roman 4:21, NLT).
Man is continually bombarded with different negativities of life. They manifest as sickness, lack, demonic attack, marital challenges, job loss, bereavement, and so on. There is hardly any time when any man can say he is completely free from worrisome or challenging situations. Sadly, many have become so overtaken by worry and fear that they are now looking for solution in wrong places; thereby, causing simple problems to become complicated.
In life, one’s victory or defeat is determined by how he handles his challenges. A Christian cannot afford to give in to fear, worry, depression or discouragement. We are meant to look unto Jesus who is able to help us and come through for us in all circumstances. Many times when we think things have gone from bad to worse; it has just got better. Unless a person’s mind is transformed by God’s word, it can’t be tuned to spiritual frequencies; let alone understand what God is working out. Instead it keeps seeing things from human and natural perspective. But God can and does bypass human limitations to manifest His supremacy.
If you are in lack; hunger or any difficult situation; here is God’s promise to you: Behold I will send you grain and new wine and oil, and you will be satisfied by them; I will no longer make you a reproach among the nations (Joel 2:19). Here is another: Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh (Luke 6:21).
Dear friend, do not be afraid of what tomorrow holds. Don’t even believe the lie of the devil that things will not get any better. Like other great men of faith, you need to convince yourself that God is able to do anything He promised. Hence, fear and discouragement must be shut out of your life.
Today’s corporate prayer: I connect to the God of all flesh. Impossibilities are possible to me. In the mighty name of Jesus!
