Inescapable
‘if we ignore such a great salvation…’ (Hebrews 2:3, NIV).
People who are into the occult or demonic practices usually believe that they have the superior power. So, in the euphoria of their power; they steal, kill and destroy at will. But that’s only until the power of Jesus intercept theirs. Even at this point, a few of them out of sheer stubbornness still refuse the great salvation of Jesus. Hence, they can’t be saved and set free from the web of the devil.
I can’t think of any other person whose life fits better into the situation described above than a lady who was my neighbour years ago. Although, I had known her for a long time, there was something I didn’t know about her until it was revealed to me in a dream. The Lord took me to a gathering that looked like that of witchcraft.
Although I could see them, none of them saw me. The leader of this horror group came out and charged at one of her subordinates, who happened to be the lady I mentioned earlier. Her leader’s accusation against her was that in the previous year, she met the target given to her, which was to ‘donate’ an unbelievable number of young lives. But she had been unable to meet her target the following year. Due to this, her terrible-looking boss promised that she was going to deal with her!
Later that day, a man of God visited us. All of a sudden there was a shout of panic. Everyone rushed out. It was the lady’s husband’s voice. She had become terribly sick and was about giving up the ghost. As at when we rushed to their place, she was motionless and foaming from her mouth. It took the intervention of prayers led by the pastor to bring her back to life.
She was invited to our church so she could surrender her life to Jesus but she didn’t. She became terribly sick again and for months she was taken from one spiritual house to the other without any solution. Eventually she lost her life at a very young age, leaving her two kids motherless.
Dear reader, are you too secretly ‘enjoying’ the use of a kind of demonic power? Are you part of an evil demonic group? Is it in your power to do evil to others without their knowledge? Do you have a desire to shed blood? Do you attend meetings in your dreams where you all drink something that looks like blood? Is blood the secret of your wealth, even though you belong to a ‘church’?
No one can escape God’s judgment who neglects the great salvation Jesus offers now. By all means, find your way to Jesus. Only then can you be free. As for us who are God’s children, the blood of Jesus is our cover. In Jesus name!
