My Birthday Wish

My Birthday WishMy Birthday Wish

It’s my birthday and I’m super grateful to God for the gift of life. His constant protection and preservation is something I would never take for granted. I’ve received a good number of gifts today. Nonetheless, I’m desiring a different kind of birthday gift, something out of the regular.

You know, each time someone dies, the first thing I get worried about is the person’s stand with Jesus at the time of death. Anyone who is alive, has the opportunity to find Jesus but death takes away that precious and life changing opportunity. Unfortunately, death marks the end of that opportunity and it becomes too late for anyone who didn’t know Jesus to make any amend.

Hence, the birthday gift that would mean a whole lot to me is that you would come to the knowledge of the truth about Jesus. To have you return to Jesus today would be the most priceless birthday gift I’ve ever received.

Your soul is extremely precious in the sight of God. Thus, what He desires above everything is that you would come to the knowledge of the truth. Thus, the need to present you with the gospel of Jesus.

What the Gospel of Christ is

The gospel means “good news,” and the gospel of Jesus Christ is the good news of Christ’s coming to provide forgiveness of sins for all who will believe in Him.

Colossians 1:14 says “In Whom we have our redemption through His blood, [which means] the forgiveness of our sins.”

Romans 10:9 also says, “Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Certainly, all of our guilt of sin and condemnation is countered by the gospel which is the good news of Jesus Christ. God, in His love has made a way for us to be forgiven of our sins. That’s why John 3:16 says,” For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

Jesus took the sins of the world on Himself through His death on the cross. 1 Peter 2:22, “He was guilty of no sin, neither was deceit (guile) ever found on His lips.”
Despite the fact that He knew no sin, He bore our sins anyway, all the way to that painful cross. Jesus did all of these, just so we would be reconciled to God through repentance which brings salvation. Without a doubt, Jesus offers complete forgiveness for all of our sins.

Acts 10:43 “To Him all the prophets testify (bear witness) that everyone who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him, giving himself up to Him] receives forgiveness of sins through His name.”

This is the great news that I bring to you today, that if you place your sins on Jesus, believe in His name, you will be forgiven and you would also receive God’s free gift of salvation which is the only access into God’s kingdom and eternal life.

Romans 4:25 “Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification (our acquittal), [making our account balance and absolving us from all guilt before God].”

God has ensured that through Jesus’ death and resurrection there’s guarantee for the complete justification of all who believe in Jesus. Take advantage of God’s grace while it’s still available to you. Please don’t put off making this life changing decision any further. Take the bold and come to Jesus today. You would not only be giving yourself life’s most priceless gift (Jesus), you would also be making my birthday wish come true.
