The Power of Agreement -1

We shall be considering the above topic to know what God is saying about it and the lessons He would us to draw from it. This would help us run the race that is set before us successfully, like unto those that run for the masteries.

Amongst common English words, agreement is one of the powerful words that has more than twelve versions in different languages. In English, French, Italia, Portuguese and Spanish. That’s what makes it very powerful indeed.
To get the best, God would speak here, the message shall be divided into five main sub headings:

1. The definition
2. The power
3. The importance
4. The merits
5. Five counsel

1. The Definition of Agreement

Agreement can be defined in so many ways no doubt! But what is agreement in God’s own perception? Agreement simply means a memorandum of understanding (MoU). Other synonyms of agreement are accord, bond, concord, consensus, consent, covenant, league, oath, oneness, pact, treaty, truce, understanding, unity, union, togetherness and will.

In French, it is called entente, pacte or accord. In Italia they call it, accordo or consenso. In Spanish, it is called acuerdo or convenio. And in the Portuguese tongue, it’s called pacto, acordo or consenso. Evidently, agreement is a very powerful term.

2.  The Power of Agreement

One thing that makes agreement very powerful is the law and force of its binding power on the people involved. Additionally, the fruits and products of agreement are love, peace, unity and mutual understanding. While the law, character and principle of its working power and effect lies on transparency, mutual cooperation, faithfulness and truth.

Once an agreement is reached, it automatically becomes a law that must be strictly adhered to by the parties involved. The bond makes it a covenant. And covenant is an oath, an oath a vow, a vow a lifestyle, lifestyle a custom and custom becomes a law after its long time of practice and observation. That’s why agreement can also be referred to as law.This is what makes agreement so powerful.

Can two walk together except they agree? And the Bible says on the day of Pentecost they were in one accord in one place before the Holy Ghost came and baptized them Acts 2:1-4.

The above is the reason a lot of marriages today suffer threats of dissolution and breakup. It’s because they were founded and established upon a faulty foundation, maybe physical beauty, carnal love, or wealth.
When beauty fades, love fails and wealth goes, the marriage collapses because was not built on the solid rock of pure and true agreement. For some, their foundations were good at the start but became faulty as soon as compromise set in.

That’s why God said He’s a witness between us and our wives to know those that break their agreement of marriage with their spouses Malachi 2:14-16. The same thing also applies to believers, as soon as they start breaking their covenants with God, He makes a breach 1 Chronicles 15: 13.

This is the cord that holds the Trinity together as one, though they have the same essence of life, but distinct, divisible and separate in their natural body forms and Being according to the law of their hypostatical Life and Nature. And the secret upon which the Triunity of the Godhead is established and hid. It’s also where the mystery and mystical foundation, operation and existence of the Triune or the Godhead three, lies. AGREEMENT!

So agreement is the power that dictates the pace, fills the space and moves in the degree and decree of time and force when we move, stand and live in agreement with one another and with our God. That’s why the Master says, if any of us shall agree on earth as touching anything we may ask, it shall be done unto us by our Father which is in heaven because of the power of agreement Matthew 18:18 – 20.

3.  How Jesus became the Son of God

A lot of debates, arguments and questions about the Sonship of Christ to God in the heavenly had over time trailed, followed and even sometimes caused wars, unbelief, accusations, resentments, hate and everyday death threats to the Christians and the preachers of the gospel from the uncircumcised in heart, especially the children of the bond woman at the mountain in Arabia, who murmur, complain and question how and why do we call and say that Jesus is the Son of God? In fact, this is what is actually responsible for the non penetration and low input and out put of soul winning in these nations, and the other countries in the four window.

Saying that how can Jesus be the Son of God? Did God marry? Or are there women in heaven? Or did God create women in heaven? Or can God marry? Or, if actually God married what is her name? All these they ask and say out of ignorance not knowing what they do. Yet there is none that could enlighten them and tell them the truth.

All they could keep saying is that I am the Son of God which is true. But the people want to know how I am the Son of God. But nobody could tell them this so that they could stop blaspheming against the name of the Lord thy God who is blessed forever. And it’s not because this is not revealed in my Word, it’s revealed, but because they have been so much carried away by their materialistic gospel.

That’s why they could not answer them in this matter.
Always looking and searching for Bible quotations that would match and suit their worldly and material messages. How long will I be with them and they do not know this?

“The ox knows his owner, the ass his master’s crib, but Israel have not known, my people do not consider” Isaiah 1: 3. They have read all Scriptures concerning me from the Old to the New Testament that says and proved that I am the Son of God”.

Proverbs 30:4, “Who had ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who had gathered the wind in his fists? Who had bound the waters in a garment? Who had established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his sons name, if you can tell?”

Psalm 2: 12, “Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him”.

Matthew 3: 16-17, “This is my only begotten Son in whom I am well pleased, hear you him”.”Now you can tell them Ariamaseke how I became the Son of God in heaven”. Jesus became the Son of God in heaven by the power of Agreement. “I will declare the decree: the LORD had said unto me, Thou at my Son; this day have I begotten thee” Psalm 2: 7.

This was how Jesus by the power of agreement became the Son of God in heaven. So if Jesus who was like God, as God and in form of God, with all the essence, glory and power of the Godhead as another BRANCH of God, could be made the Son of God one day in heaven by the power of agreement.

That tells us how powerful an AGREEMENT is, so that we don’t break our vows and agreements with God and with our fellow humans because it’s a sign and mark of faithfulness and true confession of faith in Christ Jesus, if we actually want God to bless us in this world.

“Behold the man whose name is the BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD'” Zechariah 6: 12.
