What is your stand?

Ephesians 4:14 “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.”

In this contemporary time, we see some people who profess to be Christians, which is good if truly they are. But you get to find out that these people do not have a single stand on the word of God. When they are confronted by ignorant religious people, they fidget. Hence, they end up giving wrong answers to the questions they’re asked without even getting inspiration from the scriptures.

Why are you afraid to speak the Truth? Why can’t you say, whatever the situation, I will speak and stand for the truth. Or are you waiting for your leaders or instructors to first of all stand before you stand? Are you both sharing the same salvation? Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life.

False doctrine like a wind is blowing so many Christians because they are not convinced about what they believe. Today, they’ll hear a message of holiness, and they’ll say; from henceforth holiness or nothing else. Tomorrow they’ll hear a different thing, and they move with that, very unstable. They don’t even know if some people are looking up to them in the faith, and they may be the only example these people see. Those people also will back out. They’ll say, if these who profess Christ can not be stable in their conviction and stand, then there’s no need to follow them.

Additionally, you’ll find out that these sort of trembling Christians always make noise in the name of speaking in tongues. You may not know they have backslided; they use it as a cloak for backsliding, because secret sin is eating up their very soul.

That is why they are tossed about by the tempest of false doctrine. They have no one stand, because sin stains are gummed to their heart, hypocrites! They are lukewarm, and Christ have said, I’ll spew them out of my mouth.

But thou, O child of God, Arise, and let your life be a living bible to the world. Let them know that you are convinced in what you believe: that without holiness no man shall see the Lord.

Even some preachers today with big names are teaching false doctrines, and if you are not convinced in what you believe, you might be carried away.
Stand for the LORD in the power of his might, and defend the totality of the word of God. And I pray God, before all the lions in our communities, we will stand firm.

Before all the tyrants in our territories, we will stand firm. Before any Absalom in the church, we will declare the truth. And Absalom will not intimidate us. Judas who is a son of perdition, even though he is there in the church, a leader, a worker, a minister, whoever he may be, will not stop us. Those enemies and opposers of righteousness and holiness will not stop us.

We’ll stand and earnestly defend the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. And we shall not stop in contending for that holiness without which, no man shall see the Lord. Because we are willing in the day of his power.
