The infallibility of the word of holiness

The infallibility of the word of holinessThe infallibility of the word of holiness

Psalms 93:5 “Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.”

The commands of God do not change. As the LORD of glory, and King of all the earth, holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever. It is sure, because the word of God is for ever settled in heaven. The message of holiness without which no man shall see the LORD, is most sublime of all subjects of the Bible, because it is from the nature of the Almighty God.

The LORD is a holy God, and so gives commands suitable to his nature, and that makes holiness indisputable and indispensable. Whether they be prophecies, they shall fail, whether they be tongues, they shall cease, whether they be knowledge, it shall vanish away; but thy testimonies are very sure: Thou art the same forever, and holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.

The message of holiness is a command to all who profess faith in Christ, and is a doctrine of the bible that cannot be disputed. It engulfs the revealed cannon of scripture, and encapsulates all it’s mystical reviews. Many people who claim to be preachers despise the word of holiness, and do not preach it with real emphasis. They just superficially say it, so as not to offend their audience; in that, despising the very person and nature of God. They make jest of holiness by their action, and calumny.

They can open social media forums, and talk about healing, talk about ministry (which I don’t know who gave them), talk about rhema (which stir their listeners), talk about how to be immortal, talk about marriage, talk about power, talk about this and that; yet, they despise the most sublime of them all, HOLINESS.

Our Lord Jesus Christ purchased the church, and gave gifts unto men, for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ; to present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

And if the word of holiness is not proclaimed effectively, and that, by chosen, effective, competent ministers, how will the church of God be holy? And the Lord who saved us, and called us with an holy calling, how can we avow that?

Holiness is extremely important for the pilgrims progress. The word of God tells us that without holiness no man shall see the Lord. And if we neglect this call, and the message of holiness, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself. I pray we will not be deceivers, and we will not be deceived by those false ministers who came into the fold of Christ through the window, and has turned the body of Christ to perjury.

The LORD is calling us back to holiness. Remember the ancient landmarks! That pathway that our fathers walked, “the highway of holiness.” Let us stop all this kind of jingle profession. Always remember, you’re an ambassador for Christ, and anywhere you go, take your stand for holiness.

We know majority of people, and even religious professors don’t like holiness, and will try to put holiness to the background; but as soldiers of the cross, we are committed to Holiness. Therefore, irrespective of the reactions of the multitude, we are on the LORD’s side, and holiness unto the LORD is our watchword and song.

Ultimately, we will preach righteousness, holiness and sanctification, and no devil will stand in the way. We will speak the word of holiness with boldness and persuasiveness; and all those cold, lukewarm fishes of satan standing in the way, God will brush them off, and make way for the true defenders of the faith.
